Facing the challenges of Engineering Life

ICEEL - International Conference on the Ethics of Engineering Life​ - is AoM's flagship international conference, bringing together leading voices from science, medicine, ethics, philosophy, theology, and the arts to explore the opportunities and responsibilities of engineering life. Since its inception in 2022, ICEEL has become a unique platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration. Alongside numerous scientific talks and interdisciplinary discussions, the 3rd conference featured two exceptional cultural highlights: a conversation with Canadian filmmaker David Cronenberg on the human body and cinema, and a concert by pianist Alexey Botvinov and percussionist Burhan Öçal. ICEEL, held in Vatican City in 2026, concluded with an audience with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, reaffirming the importance of ethical reflection and cultural dialogue in times of rapid scientific progress.
